Despite my formal baking education and years of experience, my brain still reads any reference of the “tablespoon” form of measurement as “terabytes.”
TB and T, which I most often encounter, are the worst. I even slip up and say it out loud sometimes.
“Yeah, just add two terabytes of vanilla extract to that.”
My poor brain. The conversion is brutal.
:D
Maybe you’re doing it the wrong way round. Instead of converting TB back to T to give human quantities, you should convert all of the other T-scale ingredients to the TB-scale, thus resulting in a GIANT cake. It might entail gallons (or litres?) of vanilla extract and eggs, though.
If it makes you feel better, whenever I see TB, I think Tuberculosis.
Makes cooking kind of dangerous, and quarantin-i.
